1056 grievances received during Jan Manch organised in ten districts, most were resolved on spot
Jan Manch was organized in various assembly constituencies of 10 districts of State today. During Jan Manch, about 1056 grievances were received and most of the grievances were disposed off on the spot. To contain the spread of corona virus all safety and precautionary measures were properly followed by district administrations.
District Mandi
Jan Manch was organised at PWD rest house Tihra in Dharampur assembly constituency of district Mandi. It was presided over by Jal Shakti, Horticulture, Revenue and Sainik welfare Minister Mahender Singh Thakur.
Total 12 panchayats were included in the Jan Manch. 44 grievances and demands were received and most of them were settled on the spot and the remaining grievances were sent for disposal to the concerned departments.
Mahender Singh Thakur presented FD of Rs. 12000 per girl to 5 girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana. Total 70 free LPG connections were provided to under Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojana. During the Jan Manch, more than 74 certificates of various types were issued.
He said that Jan Manch has empowered poor and weaker sections of the society. This platform has become their voice and their grievances were solved at the spot.
Jal Shakti Minister said that construction of 30 bridges is under progress. A 50 bedded hospital at Tihra with an expenditure of Rs. 25 crore and civil hospital at Dharampur are being constructed. Mini Secretariat buildings are also under construction at Tihra and Sandhol.
On this occasion, State BJP Mahila Morcha Mahamantri and Zila Parishad member Vandana Guleria, ADC Jatin Lal and other dignitaries were also present.
District Hamirpur
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj presided over the Jan Manch at Government Senior Secondary School Jhiralari in Barsar assembly constituency of Hamirpur district. During Jan Manch, 135 grievances and demands were received from 5 panchayats and one nagar panchayat, out of which most were disposed-off on the spot. Suresh Bhardwaj directed authorities to dispose-off remaining grievances within stipulated time.
He also planted sapling under Ek Buta Beti Ke Naam scheme on this occasion. Plants and other gifts were also distributed to 4 girls under this scheme. He also distributed 16 free LPG connections to eligible women under Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojana. He also provided 31 sewing machines and tool kits to the eligible women trained under Industry department.
Urban Development Minister provided FD of Rs. 12000 per girl to 3 girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana and cheques of Rs. 31000 per beneficiary were provided to 7 beneficiaries of Shagun Yojana.
District BJP President Baldev Sharma, Vice Chairman of Himachal Pradesh Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board Rakesh Sharma Babli, Chairman of Kangra Cooperative Agriculture and Land Development Bank Kamalnayan Sharma, Vice Chairman of Zila Parishad Naresh Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Debashweta Banik, Superintendent of Police Aakriti Sharma, ADM Jitendra Sanjta and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
District Chamba
The 24th Jan Manch of the district was organized today at Sudli Panchayat Ghar under Bhatiyat Assembly Constituency in district Chamba.
During the Jan Manch, 92 problems and demands were received out of which most were resolved on the spot.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Sarveen Chaudhary presided over the program. In her address on the occasion, she said that Jan Manch is such a program started by the government through which quick solution to the problems of the people is possible at their doorstep.
She said that the geographical conditions of district Chamba are difficult as compared to other districts of the state. Despite this, unprecedented development has taken place in the field of road construction, health and social services during the present tenure of the State Government.
Specially-abled certificates to 10 beneficiaries, 6 birth certificates and 22 revenue intkal were issued. Health check-up of 74 people were conducted besides providing them with free medicines. During the jan manch, 7 people were given corona vaccine. 12 eligible beneficiaries were distributed with gas connections under Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojana and 13 FDs were provided under the Beti Hai Anmol Yojana.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister also planted Amla plant in the name of Advika under Ek Buta Beti Ke Naam scheme.
Chief Whip Vikram Singh Jaryal provided details of various developmental schemes being done in the assembly constituency Bhatiyat.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner DC Rana, Senior Superintendent of Police S. Arul Kumar, Additional District Magistrate Amit Mehra and other dignitaries were also present.
District Shimla
In Rohru AC of Shimla district, the Jan Manch was organised at Government College Seema, which was presided over by Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Agriculture Minister Virender Kanwar. As many as 111 grievances were received during the Jan Manch out of which most were disposed off on the spot and directions were given to solve the remaining within stipulated time.
He said that the officers should work seriously for the success of Jan Manch. No laxity will be tolerated in redressal of grievances of the people. He said that the state government endeavours to solve the problem of the needy person in the society through this Jan Manch. He said that the officers should work consciously so that the benefits of various welfare schemes being run by the Centre and State Governments should be provided to the people.
During Jan Manch, 13 different certificates, 5 Intkals and 6 Jamabandis were issued. Under the Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojana, 5 beneficiaries were provided free LPG gas connections whereas 5 girls were honoured with kits under Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana. Under the Shagun Yojana, an amount of Rs. 31000 was provided to the marriage of a daughter belonging to a BPL family. Under the Beti Hai Anmol Yojana, FDs of Rs. 12,000 each were provided to 5 girls.
He planted a sapling of cedar under Ek Buta Beti Ke Naam Yojna and also visited the exhibition showcasing public welfare schemes.
On this occasion Chairman, Agriculture Rural Development Bank Shashi Bala, Zila Parishad member Urmila Dogra, Vice Chairman of Gau Sewa Aayog Ashok Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Shimla Aditya Negi, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kiran Bhadana, Sub Divisional Officer Surender Thakur, officers and employees of various departments were also present.
Una District
In District Una, Jan Manch was organized at Gagret Assembly Constituency, which was presided over by Industries, Transport, Labour and Employment Minister Bikram Singh. During the Jan Manch, 72 grievances were received and most of the cases were disposed off on the occasion.
Minister said that Jan Manch is a flagship scheme of the state government which aims at solving grievances of people on the spot in their villages. Many welfare schemes are being run by the state government. He said that various steps were taken for the welfare of registered workers of HP Workers Welfare Board and their families. He said that during Corona, assistance of almost Rs. 5 crore were provide to the 8270 eligible workers in the district.
Bikram Singh provided free LPG gas connections to 11 families under the Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojana.
Corona Vaccination camp was organized during the Jan Manch at mubarikpur, imn which 45 beneficiaries were administered with second dose of vaccination. health check up of 152 people were also conducted and 126 medical tests were done. Ayush department also conducted health check up of 132 people. Besides, 15 workers were registered on e-shram portal.
Earlier, former MLA Gagret Rajesh Thakur said that Jan Manch was organized for the first time in the area and government is disposing off grievances of people at their doorstep.
BJP Mandal President Satpal Singh, Deputy Commissioner Raghav Sharma, SP Arjit Sen, ADC Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
District Kullu
The 24th Jan Manch of district Kullu was organized at Government College Haripur under Manali Vidhan Sabha constituency which was presided over by Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur.
During the Jan Manch, the grievances of the people of 13 Gram Panchayats of Manali assembly constituency were heard. On this occasion, 117 grievances were received out of which most were resolved on the spot while the remaining was forwarded to the concerned departments for immediate resolution.
Health check-up of 201 people was done by Ayurveda department and free medicines were also distributed. 209 Intkals, various 62 certificates and 20 green cards by HRTC were issued while second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine was administered to 12 people during Jan Manch.
The Education Minister said that Manali Vidhan Sabha has been developed as a model assembly constituency of the state. It has almost 98 per cent road connectivity. He said that many new roads were constructed during the last four years in Manali assembly constituency. He said that a sewerage project worth Rs. 390 crore was prepared and sanctioned for Manali city and work will start soon.
After this, Govind Singh Thakur provided FD of Rs. 12000 each to 7 girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana. Under the Shagun Yojana, an amount of Rs. 31000 each was provided to the parents of three girls. Under Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojna, cheques of Rs. 51000 each were distributed to three girls. The Education Minister distributed an amount of Rs. 5000 each and presented a citation to the meritorious girl students of class 10th and 12th class under the Sashakt Mahila Yojana.
State BJP Vice President Dhaneshwari Thakur, BJP Mandal President Durga Singh Thakur, Chairman Nagar Parishad Manali Chaman Kapoor, Panchayat Samiti Chairman Kundan Thakur, Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg, Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
District Solan
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Rajiv Saizal said that the main objective of the democratic system is to serve the common man through the schemes and programs of the government and all the departmental officers should make quick efforts to take the government schemes to the people for the service of the common man. Dr. Rajiv Saizal was presiding over the Jan Manch organized at Parwanoo in Kasauli assembly constituency of district Solan today.
Total 148 grievances and demands were received during the Jan Manch held today out of which, most were settled and remaining were forwarded to the appropriate level for further action.
Dr. Saizal called upon the officers to understand the problems of the people and ensure their speedy disposal so that people can get justice near their doorsteps. He said that the purpose of Jan Manch is that people should get quick solution to their problems and their time and money should be saved. He said that Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojana has been appreciated as a model scheme in the whole country.
During Jan Manch, 76 people were enrolled for Aadhaar scheme. Health check-up of 215 persons was done in the free check-up camp and 28 persons went through eyes examined. Dental treatment was provided to 45 persons. 43 persons were vaccinated against Covid-19. Health check-up of 275 people was done in the free health camp organized by the Ayush department. 11 units of blood were collected in the blood donation camp.
38 samples of milk were collected in a free test camp organized by the Animal Husbandry department. During Jan Manch, 110 SIM cards were distributed by Bhartiya Sanchar Nigam Limited. 20 e-shram cards were also issued on the occaion.
State Women Commission Chairperson Dr. Daisy Thakur, Zila Parishad Solan Chairman Ramesh Thakur, APMC Solan Chairman Sanjeev Kashyap, Nagar Parishad Parwanoo Chairperson Nisha Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Solan Kritika Kulhari, Superintendent of Police Virender Sharma, Additional Superintendent of Police Ashok Verma and other dignitaries were also present.
District Sirmaur
Energy Minister Sukh Ram presided over the Jan Manch organized at Government Senior Secondary School of Jamu Koti, Gram Panchayat of Sangrah in district Sirmaur.
On this occasion, 126 grievances and demands related to various departments were presented, most of which were settled on the spot and remaining grievances were sent to the concerned departments for time bound disposal.
Sukh Ram said that the problems of all the 1142 families of Renuka Dam oustees would be resolved soon and all the problems related to the land allotted to the displaced families would be dealt on the spot by the officials.
He said that under the Jal Jeevan Mission of the Center Government, drinking water has been provided to 83 percent households in Sirmour and under Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojna, about 36,483 LPG gas connections were made available in district Sirmour, while 10,944 gas connections were distributed under Ujjwala Yojana.
Earlier, the Energy Minister planted saplings of Kanak Champa, Arjun, Amla and Guava in Panchvati Vatika in the school premises.
Under the ‘Beti Hai Anmol’ program, seven girls were given bank FDs of Rs. 12000 each under the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao program, 6 newborn girls were given congratulatory letters and gifts from the district administration. More than 138 different types of certificates were issued by the Revenue Department. Health check-up of 112 patients and 60 blood tests were done by the Ayurveda department and free medicines were distributed after examining more than 50 people in the medical camp organized by the Health Department.
On this occasion Zila Parishad Chairman Sirmaur Seema Kanyal, Former MLA Roop Singh, Block Development Committee Chairman Sangrah Mela Ram Sharma, Block Development Committee Chairman Nahan Anita Sharma, Former Vice Chairman Scheduled Caste Development Corporation Balvir Chauhan, Mandi Committee Chairman Rameshwar Sharma, BJP Mandal President Sunil Sharma, Vice Chairman Panchayat Samiti Sangrah Madan Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sonakshi Singh Tomar, senior officers and officials of various departments were also present.
District Kangra
Forest, Youth Services and Sports Minister Rakesh Pathania presided over the 24th Jan Manch organized at Government High School, Lower Khaira in Jaisinghpur Assembly Constituency.
During the Jan Manch, 97 grievances were received from 10 Gram Panchayats, out of which most had been resolved.
On this occasion, the Forest Minister said that Jan Manch is an ambitious program for the people of the state to establish direct dialogue with the government and solve their problems on the spot.
Rakesh Pathania said that Mukhyamantri Seva Sankalp Helpline-1100 has become very popular programs due to speedy resolution to public grievances. He said that Chief Minister himself monitors the grievances received through helpline and review the progress of the disposal.
The Forest Minister said that the State Government has done commendable work under the able leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur during the Covid period. He said that it is a matter of pride that the State has achieved first position in the country by achieving 100 percent target in administering the first dose of Covid-19 vaccination and more than 80 percent people in the State have already received the second dose.
During this, a medical camp was also organized by the Health Department in which about 110 people were examined for their health. Apart from this, Covid Rapid Antigen Test of 7 people was done, in which the report of all the people came negative. In the camp organized during the program, 18 people also got the vaccination done in the Covid Vaccination Camp.
The Forest Minister presented 5 medicinal plants to the family members of Ibana, the daughter of Longini (Chinchadi) under Ek Buta Beti Ke Naam scheme. He distributed free gas stove to six eligible families under Mukhyamantri Grihani Suvidha Yojna and Rs. 12000 each to the families of two girls under Beti Hai Anmol Yojana and wheel chairs and other equipments to 8 Specially-abled on behalf of Red Cross Society.
Earlier, local MLA Ravinder said that Jan Manch is playing an important role in quick and permanent solution to the problems of the people at their doorsteps. He said that works worth Rs. 143 crore through Public Works Department and works of Rs. 223 crore through Jal Shakti Department are in progress in Jaisinghpur Vidhan Sabha constituency.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Kangra Dr. Nipun Jindal, Superintendent of Police Khushal Sharma, ADC Rahul Kumar and other dignitaries were people present.
District Bilaspur
It was a golden opportunity for people to present their views before the government and administration through Jan Manch. This information was given by Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Rajinder Garg while presiding over the 24th Jan Manch at Kosariyan under Jhanduta assembly constituency today.
He said that Jan Manch was started by the state government with the aim of bringing the government closer to the people and to quickly solve their problems. The Jan Manch was proving very successful to solve the problems of the people of the state
Total 114 applications were received in Jan Manch, out of which most were resolved on the spot and remaining grievances have been sent to the concerned departments for action.
As many as 70 certificates related to Revenue and Panchayati Raj Department were issued during Jan Manch. Health check-up of 214 people and blood test of 75 people was done by the Ayush department. Health check-up of 144 people was done by the health department. Total 45 Intkals and 16 Wasiyats were issued related to the Revenue Department.
Earlier, Rajinder Garg planted Amla sapling under the ‘Ek Buta Beti Ke Naam’ scheme. Under the Beti Anmol Yojana, FDs were distributed to 5 beneficiaries and 5 specially-abled were encouraged by providing specially-abled certificates.
On this occasion, the MLA of Jhanduta assembly constituency, J.R. Katwal in his address said that the work of Kutvagad drinking water scheme at a cost of Rs. 60 crore is in progress, which will be completed by next year. Apart from this, a cost of Rs. 240 crore is being spent on roads and irrigation and drinking water scheme.
On this occasion, Zila Parishad Chairperson Muskan, State Executive Member Rakesh Gautam, Superintendent of Police S.R. Rana, ADC Torul Ravish, Assistant Commissioner Siddharth Acharya, SDM Jhanduta Naresh Verma, heads of various departments and officers and employees of various departments and dignitaries were also present.
