Haryana Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal Said That It Will Be Mandatory For The Teachers Who Have Completed Five Years In Model Culture Schools
Education Minister holds back to back meetings with various teacher associations on online transfer policy
Transfer drive related issues resolved on the spot
Chandigarh, August 23 – Haryana Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal said that it will be mandatory for the teachers who have completed five years in model culture schools of the state to participate in the online transfer drive.
Sh. Kanwar Pal said this during a meeting held in Chandigarh today with the office bearers of various teachers’ unions.
He said that the teachers who have got the station of their choice in the online transfer will be allotted the station and the transfer drive will be opened again for the teachers who have not been alloted station. The date of the online transfer drive has been extended to August 24. He said that the girls’ middle school from class I to VIII will be made co-ed and this decision has been taken in principle.
Schools with fewer students are being merged
Sh. Kanwar Pal said that there is a difference between merging and closing schools, both are different things. Those schools of the state are being merged in which the number of students is very less. He said that the ANOs of those schools which have units of NCC will not be included in the drive.
Our first priority is to educate children
He made it clear that our first priority is to give good education to the children. Every student should have a teacher and every teacher should have students. He said that the teachers whose retirement is less than one year will not be transferred. But the number of students should be appropriate.
To solve the problems of teachers, help desk is established in the education department
While directing the officers, the Education Minister said that the number of help desks in Shiksha Sadan should be doubled so that teachers do not face any kind of problem in the online transfer drive. He added that teachers can get help through the help desk.
Also had a positive interaction with Haryana Education Ministerial Staff Association
The Education Minister directed the officials that the seniority list of the ministerial staff should be updated by September 10. So that the shortcomings in their promotions can be removed. He said that the clerks of the ministerial staff whose stations are far away will be included in the transfer drive every year.
On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary, School Education Department, Sh. Mahavir Singh and Director, Sh. Anshaj Singh, other officers and officials of the department and various teachers’ associations were also present.
