Olympic Gold Medalist And Subedar Neeraj Chopra Of 4 Rajputana Rifles
Expresses gratitude to the CM for sports policies of the state
Chandigarh, November 11- by Olympic gold medalist and Subedar Neeraj Chopra of 4 Rajputana Rifles, who brought laurels for Haryana by creating history for India in the sports world, today paid a courtesy call to Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal at his Sant Kabir Kutir Niwas in Chandigarh ahead of future competitions.
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal presented Shrimad Bhagavad Gita to Neeraj Chopra and also invited him for the International Gita Mahotsav; commencing from November 16. Congratulating the Chief Minister for the successful organisation of ‘Khelo India Youth Games’, Neeraj Chopra described the sports policy of Haryana as the best sports policy.
It is noteworthy that on October 2, the ‘Champion of Change’ committee presented ‘Champion of Change Haryana 2021 Award’ to Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal along with 25 other personalities for excellent work in diverse fields including sports, education, agriculture, health, social welfare, music and cultural media. At that time, Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra could not attend the event due to his practice abroad and joined it virtually.
During the meeting, Neeraj Chopra expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, especially for the sports policies of the state.
