Mann government will spend approximately rs 2.03 crores to provide facilities of water supply and sewerage lines at ropar: dr inderbir singh nijjar
Local Government Minister Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that the Punjab government has decided to spend about Rs 2.03 crore on laying water supply and sewage lines at Railway Road Nangal and laying UPVC sewerage lines at NCC Academy Ropar.
Divulging details, Local Government Minister Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that approximately Rs1.73 crore will be spent on laying water supply and sewerage lines at Railway Road Nangal.
Apart from this, He said that approximately Rs.30 Lacs will be spent on laying UPVC sewer pipe at NCC Academy Ropar.
Cabinet Minister said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is making full-out efforts to provide basic facilities, clean and pollution free environment to the people of the state. Working in this direction, the Punjab government is being conducted development works across the state.
He said that the office process for these works has been started by the Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
Minister has directed the officials of the Water Supply and Sewerage Board to ensure transparency and quality in the development works being carried out. He has also instructed the officials to ensure strict adherence to the guidelines of the government in carrying out the works.
