Guru Gobind Singh jayanti celebration Doda

Alike other parts of the country birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh, Tenth Guru of Sikh community, was also celebrated in this hilly district of DODA today. In this regard programs were organised in Dozens of Gurudawaras of the district where members of sikh community visited and paid tribute to the tenth Guru. Special prayers were held and free langars were organised.
The biggest programme was held at Doda Gurudawara where number of sikh visited And took part in special prayers. Scholars threw light on the life of Guru Gobind Singh and also prayed for peace and hormoney in the region. Some Muslim community members were also seen greeting their sikh brothers to express their brotherhood.
Administration also made adequate arrangement for power and water supply in the town especially in sikh mohallas and Gurudawaras.
