Bhartia Janta Party Doda has alleged embezzlement of funds under 14th FC by saepanchs

Bhartia Janta Party Doda has alleged embezzlement of funds under 14th FC by sarpanches of Bharath A and B in Dali Udyanpur block of Ghat Mandal and demands strict action against the accused. In a press conference at Doda today BJP spokesman said that Party has brought the matter into the notice of concerned BDO and the DDC Doda. In This regard, a written complaint has already been submitted by the BJP team of Ghat Mandal to the concerned seeking action against the erring sarpanches and secretary panchayat but no action has been taken to date.

 Despite being aware of the fact that funds worth 22Lakhs under 14 FC meant for utilization in the development of panchayats have been illegally withdrawn and embezzled by the concerned sarpanches of Bharath A and Bharath B panchayats in violation to the set norms, the authorities at the helm of affairs have not taken appropriate action against them. BJP Doda demands a high-level inquiry into the matter and suspension of powers of the concerned Sarpanches and secretary panchayat till the inquiry is complete
