Under its ongoing campaign against drugs, Haryana Police has seized 50,000 banned medicines and arrested four persons including a woman while they were carrying the contraband in a car in Sirsa district.

- Chandigarh, April 5 – Under its ongoing campaign against drugs, Haryana Police has seized 50,000 banned medicines and arrested four persons including a woman while they were carrying the contraband in a car in Sirsa district.
- Giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that a police team, while patrolling, stopped a car near Ding morh for checking. During the search, 50,000 tablets, falling under the category of prohibited medicines, were recovered.
- The arrested accused were identified as Ajay of village Khori Kalan in Mewat and Mukesh, Ravi and Radha, all residents of Rajasthan.
- They have been booked under relevant sections of the NDPS Act and further investigation is underway. Accused will be produced in the Court and taken on remand to find out the involvement of others in this drug peddling racket.
