- Chandigarh, June 29: In view of decentralization of power of Panchayati Raj Institutions and Urban Local Bodies from time to time and keeping in view the demand and requirement of the people, Adampur Gram Panchayat of Hisar district has been upgraded and declared a Municipality.
- Necessary notification to this effect has been issued by the Urban Local Bodies Department. According to the notification, the boundaries of the newly declared Adampur Municipality start from Khara Barwala HB No. 82/1 north west corner toward east up to Khasra No. 79/5 north east corner and then towards south along with Murba line up to Sahada where Khara Barwala, Adampur and Sadalpur boundary meets there after north boundary Adampur village towards east up to village Sadalpur boundary crossing Rasta along with Khasra No. 11/11 north east corner and then along with Rasta’s eastern line and Kohli minor’s north line towards eastern boundary of Adampur up to Khasra No. 36/2 where northern boundary exists.
- Similarly, the boundary in the east extends from Kohli Minor north line where Adampur village’s eastern line starts and going towards south with boundary till Khasra No. 131/22 south eastern corner.
- According to the notification, the southern border starts from village Adampur Khasra No. 131/22 southeast corner towards west up to Khasra No. 141/3 north east corner on Siswal Road’s western line. Then from this corner going towards south with Siswal road west line up to Khasra No. 141/24/1 south east corner. Then from this corner village Khara Barwala’s Khasra No.245/21 south west corner meets on Rasta of Khara Barwala-Mohabatpur.
- After this the western boundary starts from Khara Barwala Khasra No. 245/21 south west corner on Rasta on eastern line towards north Khara Barwala Khasra No. 200/1 north west corner and then from this corner towards west up to Khasra No. 184/21 south west corner. Proceeding from this towards north Khasra No. 156/1 north west corner and going towards east Khasra No. 154/1 north west corner from that point towards north up to Khasra No. 110/1 Khara Barwala north west corner. Proceeding from this corners going towards east Khasra no. 113/1 (Khara Barwala) north west corner. Thereafter from this corner Khasra No. 82/1 (Khara Barwala) north west corner which is proposed Municipal Committee starting point.
