Punjab Chief Secretary Vijay Kumar Janjua on Friday said that the meeting of the 20th Standing Committee of the Northern Zonal Council would be held on January 12, 2023 at Mohali.
In a meeting with representatives of various departments at his office in the Punjab Civil Secretariat here today, Mr. Janjua said that a number of top officials including Chief Secretaries/Administrators from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, U.T. Chandigarh, Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh would participate in the meeting of the 20th Standing Committee of the Council. He said that various important issues would be discussed during this meeting to further improve mutual cooperation between these states.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary discussed the arrangements to be made for the meeting of the Standing Committee with Principal Secretary Printing Stationery V.K. Meena, Secretary General Administration Kumar Rahul, Secretary Home and Justice Department Ritu Aggarwal, ADGP Security SS Srivastava, Director Governance Reforms Department Girish Dayalan, Deputy Commissioner SAS Nagar Amit Talwar and the representatives of Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, Power Department, Information and Public Relations Department. Meanwhile, he also gave directions to the concerned departments regarding making proper and impressive arrangements for the meeting of the 20th Standing Committee of the Northern Zonal Council.
