5 Year Boy injured in leopard attack in Doda, Jammu

A boy namely Sumit has suffered serious multiple injuries when he was attacked a wild bear outside his village. The injured was immediately rushed to medical college hospital Doda for treatment.
According to reports, the victim was on way to his home in the Dashnan area when he reached to a desert place s big bear jumped out and caught the victim. The victim raised a hue and cry following which the bear left him in a pool of blood and disappeared from the scene. Latter some villagers spotted the boy in injured condition and shifted him to the hospital. The boy has suffered multiple injuries on his body, face, and head.
This was after a gap of about one year that wild animal attacked a boy close to the inhabited area. Earlier man-animal conflicts had become a daily routine. In the Doda district, dozens of such attacks were reported. The residents have once again appealed wildlife authorities to come and do something to save the civilian population from attacks of wild animals.
