Though all the classes are being postponed, the Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC) has also postponed all the classes. The Amritsar Group of Colleges (AGC) has suspended all physical classes—instead, all course material is provided online on a daily basis to the students. This decision has been taken because the Punjab Government has asked all the educational institutions to close until March 31, as a preventive measure to fight against ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
The teachers would be available online as per the class schedules and deliver their course content through the video lectures, PowerPoint presentations, and self-prepared notes as said by the Principal VK Banga. The Chairman of the AGC, Amit Sharma has said that in this time of global challenge the efforts of all members of faculty are appreciable, who are making proper utilization of information communication technology by imparting quality study material through online mode.
“Students find this process very conducive and helpful to meet their study needs despite the natural epidemic Covid-19,” said Banga.
