As per the latest reports, Amitabh Bachan’s highly anticipated flick ‘Jhund’ and Abhishek Bachan’s multi-starter ‘Ludo’ will not be having a theatrical release, but an OTT release.
According to the reports, it is said that the rights of the films have been sold to one of the online streaming giants by the makers.
Also, the current economic situations demand some new platforms for the release to recover as much money as they can. Since it may take a long time for the theatres to reopen, so OTT platforms are providing to be the go-to options for the filmmakers and the producers.
It was also announced late last month that Akshay Kumar’s film, Laxmmi Bomb might release directly on the OTT platform. But there are chances that if these films release on OTT then this will make cinema halls irrelevant.
