The HRD ministry has asked the CBSE and NTA to start working on the revised schedules for the examinations following the extension of the nationwide lockdown.
While the CBSE has to prepare the datasheets for Classes 10th and 12th for the left exams, on the other hand, the NTA has to make preparations for the JEE exams.

In compliance of the order which has been issued by MHA on 24.3.2020, all the offices of MHRD and its autonomous institutions & subordinate offices shall remain closed for a period of 3 weeks. However, all officers & staff will be working from home as per the orders, as said by the senior official.
Bureau heads and the Division heads will make sure that all the financial matters relating to releases, particularly salaries and pensions are cleared.
CBSE, NIOS and NTA should work on revised schedule of exams. Meanwhile, the autonomous bodies and NCERT should draft alternate academic calendars, the official said.
