CBSE students need to take board exams in their current district

The CBSE has decided to allow the students who have moved to their home towns or other districts to appear at their own district for the pending board exams. The board will notify the students about the change of centre in the first week of June and the students can apply for the change of centre location online. 

The decision has been announced by the Union Minister of HRD Ramesh Pokhriyal for all those students who are going to appear for the pending 29 papers which were postponed due to the disruption in the North East Delhi due to the violence and lockdown amid novel coronavirus. 

Although, many students of the classes XII unturned to few from X, used to travel to distant places for the coaching and generally choose the exam centres which are close to their coaching institutes. Due to the lockdown, they have to return to their hometowns. 

Earlier the minister had confirmed that CBSE would be allowing the students to appear from their own schools and not the exam centres. The students would be required to notify their respective schools about their present location. All the information will be collected by the board in the first week of June.
