The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2020) has been postponed again until June 21, due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Thus, now the exam will take place on June 21, from 3 pm to 5 pm. The last date for the online application has been extended to May 18.
The CLAT is a national level exam which is conducted for the admission into 22 National Law Universities across the country, which offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate law programs to the students. The entrance exam is being organized every year by the Consortium of National Law Universities.
Earlier it was scheduled to be held on May 10, then it had been postponed to May 24, and now it is going to be conducted on June 21. The Convenor of CLAT 2020 and Vice-Chancellor of Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur Prof Balraj Chouhan confirmed the development, after a meeting of the CLAT Consortium took place today.
