CM announces new Sub Tehsil office to Yol and to upgrade PHC Badoi as CHC
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today while addressing a public meeting at Joravar stadium under Dharamshala assembly segment of district Kangra announced opening of new Sub Tehsil office at Yol under Dharamshala assembly constituency. He also announced the upgradation of Primary Health Center Badoi to Community Health Center.
Chief Minister said as the assembly election was approaching nearer, many leaders from opposition parties were joining the Bhartiya Janata Party. This was a clear indication that the present government in Himachal Pradesh would again come into power and serve the people of the state with similar commitment and good governance, he added. He said, ‘two working presidents of the state Congress party have also quit their party and joined the BJP. Congress is on the verge of elimination.’
He also said that the process for inclusion of 6 sub castes of Scheduled Tribes community was in process after the Deputy Commissioner submitted the report with this regard. He assured that as soon as the process and formalities would be completed inclusion would be done.
MLA Dharamshala Vishal Nehria also spoke on the occasion. He thanked the Chief Minister for ensuring infrastructural development in Dharamshala constituency. Dharamshala being a part of smart city project has been witnessing all round development. Trial for plying electric buses in Dharamshala has also been successful and now the local people as well as tourists will be benefitted with a transport facility of 15 electric buses, he said.
Earlier, local BJP leader Rakesh Chaudhary welcomed the Chief Minister for his presence and benevolence towards the development and welfare of the people of Dharamshala constituency in the public meeting.
MLAs Vishal Nehria, Pawan Kajal, district BJP President Chander Bhushan Nag, Deputy Commissioner Nipun Jindal, SP Khushal Sharma were also present on the occasion among others.
