Eight people discharged from quarantine centers in Doda today, Reports of six patients turned out negative; one still awaited
Doda, March 31:
Doda administration today allowed eight persons to go home from quarantine centers at Doda town after completing the 14-day quarantine period.
Samples of six out of these eight people were sent for tests to government medical college Jammu and all came negative after which administration decided to send them home.
So far Doda and Kishtwar districts of Chenab valley region of Jammu and Kashmir have been free of any positive case of COVID-19 pandemic and administration as well as health officials are on the job to keep the area free from this pandemic.
So far in Doda district 202 people were kept in quarantine and out of which 23 have been discharged including 11 patients whose test reports have turned out negative. Still 179 people are in administrative quarantine in the district and several others are under surveillance and home quarantine. Report of one patient is still awaited.
Similarly, in Kishtwar district reports of two patients have turned out to be negative whereas one report is still awaited. There are 193 people under home quarantine and 30 are in administrative quarantine. 103 people are under surveillance in Kishtwar distict.
