Google and Apple to Launch Contact Tracing
Google and Apple both have banded together in this time of need to help the COVID task force with tracing the carriers of the coronavirus and everyone they come in contact with.
While this is something that may raise privacy concerns at first, the tech giants promise to keep everyone anonymous.
The tracing works with the help of Bluetooth and WIFI signals and uses them to trace the original carrier among a group of infected people.

This can be a major game-changer since identifying people who have been in contact with the infected can help in getting them tested in time, and preventing a lot more COVID cases.
While the system isn’t perfect yet, as it still has open doorways for hackers; it is bound to improve at an incremented pace in the coming week. People will be expected to install an app that will allow the tracking to take place, as embedding it into the OS will be a breach of the privacy agreement users agree on while signing up on their new device.
Let’s hope that this can help flatten the curve.
Stay safe.
