Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Mr. Gurmeet Singh Khudian on Monday announced to contribute his one-month salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for flood relief and rehabilitation measures.
He reiterated that Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Maan led Punjab Government stands by its people and has not been leaving any stone unturned to save precious human lives and property, besides working on war footing to carry out relief works in flood affected areas. The whole state government machinery has been working round-the-clock for providing relief and facilitating rehabilitation of those affected by floods.
Appealing to all to contribute their bit to help the flood affected families in this natural calamity, Mr Gurmeet Singh Khudian said that their noble gesture would be a great help in this difficult time.
The Agriculture Minister wrote to Secretary General Administration to transfer his one-month salary towards CM’s Relief Fund for relief and rehabilitation measures.
