Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister directs officers of Panchayat and Public Health Department to ensure safe and clean drinking water across the state

Chandigarh, August 16- Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Sh. Devender Singh Babli has directed the officials of Development and Panchayats and Public Health Departments to ensure supply of clean drinking water in every house of the state. The Cabinet Minister was reviewing the on-going development works in a meeting with the officials of Development and Panchayats and Public Health Departments in Tohana today.

While addressing the issues related to supply of clean drinking water and adequate arrangement of drainage system in the meeting, the Minister directed the concerned officials to solve the problems at the earliest. He said that the public issues should be taken and redressed on priority basis. Giving further directions to the officers of the department, he said that development works should be done after getting proper blueprints prepared to solve all the problems.

He also inspected the on-going gray water management works and directed the concerned department to implement welfare schemes of the government at the ground level. He directed to complete all development works in a time bound manner.

He said that while preparing the plans for development works, the officers must keep in mind that all the criteria related to the welfare schemes should be fulfilled and the works should be completed within the stipulated time limit, so that the public can get maximum benefits on time.
