Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya On Saturday Said That Administrative Officers Have An Important Role To Play In Strengthening The Country’s Delivery
Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Saturday said that administrative officers have an important role to play in strengthening the country’s delivery mechanism and taking the benefits of welfare programmes and schemes to poor, downtrodden and every needy person. For this, all officers should play their role with the spirit of inclusive commitment, honesty and determination.
The Governor, who was addressing 20 IAS, HCS and PCS officers at Raj Bhavan today, said that the Indian Civil Services are the backbone of the country’s government system. That is why ‘Iron Man’ Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel envisioned our civil servants as the ‘Steel Frame’ of the government machinery. He said that officers should work with total sincerity, commitment and determination in every field of their posting, which will strengthen the country and benefit the needy as well.
Shri Dattatraya said that the Indian Constitution is the holy book of our democracy thanks to which every countryman has got the right to justice, equality, freedom, expression of ideas and equal opportunity to progress. The credit for this goes to Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Constitution and other esteemed members of the Constituent Assembly. You also take the oath of the ideals enshrined in our Constitution, he said.
Stating that the management of administration is a challenging task, he said that there is a need to simplify the process and ensure that the aspirations of the people are met for which we should use the latest technologies. There are currently 105 unicorns in the country. At present, there are more than 75 thousand start-ups in the country which generate capital of 450 billion dollars.
On this occasion, he also gave away Bhamashah award in recognition of social services, Rishi Samman for contributions in the field of religion and spirituality, and Guru Samman for making remarkable contributions in the field of education. Noted environmentalist and Rajya Sabha MP Padma Shri Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal, Shri Avinash Rai Khanna, Shri Satyapal Jain, Shri Pawan Jindal, Shri Charanjit Rai and other dignitaries were present.
