Highest number of Covid-19 cases were found in a single day
Five more cases were reported positive in the city on Monday evening. Earlier in the morning, 4 cases were reported. That is, 9 new cases have been reported throughout the day. With this, the total number of patients in Chandigarh has reached 45. The new patients include a 27-year-old female doctor of GMCH-32, a 28-year-old resident of Ramdarbar, a 19-year-old female resident of Sector 52, a 41-year-old Sector-30 resident male, 65-year-old Sector-30 resident female.

Earlier in the morning, four more people in the city reported Coronavirus COVID-19 positive. Two doctors, an attendant, and a person residing in the Bapudham colony, from the Anesthesia Department of Government Medical College and Hospital Sector-32 (GMCH-32), were found Coronavirus positive. With this, the total number of people infected with the coronavirus has now increased to 40 and 17 people have returned home after defeating the disease.
On Sunday, the highest number of Corona positive cases were recorded in a single day in the city. Six Corona positive cases occurred. Earlier in March, five Corona positive cases were registered in a single day. Rapidly spreading coronavirus infection is currently at a peak in the city. There have been nine cases in the city within three consecutive days. The great thing is that all the major hospitals in the city are now becoming the hub of Coronavirus. Now a six-month-old girl died of the corona at PGI’s Advanced Pediatric Center, now Corona positive cases have come back to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH-32) and PGI. On Sunday also, six people who have been found corona positive in the city. These people work in GMCH-32 and PGI or coronavirus has been confirmed in the family members exposed to them.
