Doda, April 24:
As the holy month of Ramzan will be starting this evening and Muslims in sub-continent will be fasting from tomorrow, this is the unique month this time as people will remain confined to their homes.
No prayer will be allowed in Masjids and only three to four people living nearby have been told to observe prayers in Masjids all over Doda district.

The decision has come from all religious committees including that of seerat committee Doda, who have asked people to stay home and keep praying inside their homes.
“Coming out of your homes will be dangerous as the COVID-19 threat continues to loom large over the country. Though it is a unique month of Ramzan this time, it will give people an opportunity to repent and seek forgiveness from the almighty Allah,” said Sheikh Abdul Hafiz, Imam Jamia Masjid Furqanabad Ghat.
Meanwhile, seerat committee Doda has asked people to stay home and don’t come out unnecessary. “No Tarweeh will be allowed in any Masjid and people should observe it inside their homes. It is better for people and their families to observe social distancing during this month also,” said Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy, head of Seerat committee Doda.
