How Coronavirus Has Impacted Tech

The tech industry is at an all-time low profitability moment in the coronavirus times. Since most factories producing chipsets parts for NVidia, Intel, and AMD had stopped functioning, it has caused production to diminish by a lot. Not to mention that the lockdowns are preventing users from getting any new tech at all. Amazon has stopped delivering most products, sparing only essential goods which again leaves the tech sector without consumers.

Furthermore, it is incredibly likely that consumers would avoid purchasing new tech for a pretty long period since the fear of getting the virus from existing tech parts is expected to remain for some time.

On the software end of the spectrum however, things are looking up. Platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, and more are expected to gain a ton of new customers amid the quarantine period. Digital game stores such as steam are also showing an increase in purchases, and they are in turn giving discounts to help people amid the crisis.

The future of the tech industry is quite unpredictable right now, though things are expected to bounce back as soon as the crisis ends.
