An official notification regarding the postgraduate admission in Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi for the academic year 2020-2021 has been released on the website, few guidelines for the application process have been given in the notification and it also says that the last date for online application has been extended to May 10, by 4 pm.
The notice states that the test for PG admission in the institute has been revised. The new dates for the exam are from May 18 to June 17. The selection for M.Tech and M.Des is now being done according to the GATE or CEED score with the shortlisting criteria that have been set at the institute.

It also says that the interviews via video conferencing to be conducted for the candidates who are valid applicants but do not hold GATE or CEED score are also eligible on the condition that they must be an IIT Graduate with CGPA more than or equal to 8.00 part-time, sponsored or international candidate.
Further, the notice says that the interviews conducted for PhD admission will also take place through the online video conferencing method.
This decision has been taken due to the nationwide lockdown amid coronavirus pandemic. Recently the lockdown has been extended till 17 May.
