Maharashtra Government has decided to merge the international board with the state secondary and higher secondary education board. This step has been taken to ensure quality education for all the children. It is said by the government that there should not be two examination boards.
According to the new education policy, the State Council for Education Research and Training would prepare a curriculum of international standards. In the other decision, the state government has approved the formation of a Nagar Parishad for 18 villages which has been left out of the jurisdiction of the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation.
