Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority CEO said that MNC, BPO, and IT-enabled services may have to allow their employees to work from home till the end of July.
VS Kundu, who is the additional chief secretary of Haryana, had said that several real estate projects, including DLF, have got a green signal to resume the construction but following the norms of social distancing.

Kundu told, “ as of now it appears that this advisory of work from home will continue till the end of July. All those who have offices in Gurugram should continue to work from home to the extent possible.”
He also added that this might not be possible in the case of industries and the manufacturing sector but should be followed wherever possible. The GMDA and NHAI projects have been allowed to resume their work within the norms of social distancing.

The GMDA CEO had said that this nature of coronavirus pandemic that no one knows everything will go back to previous normal, but we may have to go to a new normal.
Gurugram is also a hub for the automobile industry along with the corporate hub. Gurugram has reported 51 Covid-19 cases, out fo those 35 have been recovered.
