NGO offers aid to the Deputy Commissioner’s Aid Initiative in Doda District
Following the mechanism put in place by the District Administration regarding voluntary aid to tackle the menace of Covid-19, Habib Trust, a Non Governmental Organisation which is currently operating in Doda approached the Deputy Commissioner’s Office to put forward it’s intentions of providing aid to the rural areas.
Marking the first step of it’s journey towards social responsibility, Habit Trust today provided fifty (50) kits consisting of Rice, Atta Oil, Pulses, Salt, spices, soaps and masks. The cost of this kit has been determined to be around Rs 1,100.

The first wave of relief was distributed among the destitute inhabitants of Gujjar Basti and surrounding areas after due consultation and identification by the Sarpanch, reported Touseef Wani, the enthusiastic President of Habib Trust.
