NOC holders of unauthorized colonies will not face any problem while getting registration: Jimpa

Residents/owners of plots of unauthorized colonies in the state who have NOC, will not face any problem while getting their property registered.  Revenue Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa has issued instructions to the concerned officials and employees of the department in this regard.

Revenue Minister said that providing transparent and corruption-free services to the people of Punjab is the main objective of the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.  He said that revenue officials have been directed to do all the work according to the rules and regulations and as per the instructions circulated by state govt.

He said that to get NOC for registry, a portal has been launched to ensure prompt and timely disposal of applications for owners of unauthorised colonies. Jimpa said that for regularization of plots and buildings located in unauthorized colonies, concerned person can log on to the portal www.punjabregularization.in to get NOC. The entire process from submitting application till getting N.O.C. is online.  He said that this facility is for those allottees/residents only, whose properties fall in unauthorized colonies developed before March 19, 2018.

Revenue Minister further said that after getting NOC, the owner can get registration by submitting govt fee. It is worth mentioned that  the entire process to get N.O.C would be completed maximum within 21 working days from the date of submission of the application on the portal. This one single portal is designed for regularization of plots and buildings falling within MC and outside MC area for quick disposal of applications, he added.
