Chandigarh/Patiala, November 5:
Patiala based Ratandeep Garrang has become state’s first enterpreneur for having awarded with Punjab’s first certificate under Punjab Right to Business Act-2020.
He was given certificate of in principle approval to set up his business in record 13 days of applying for it at ‘Business First Portal’.
Mr. Kumar Amit, Deputy Commissioner, Patiala today issued the first certificate under the Punjab Right to Business Act- 2020 to Mr. Ratandeep Garrang, a businessman for setting up a toy factory.
Highlighting the features of the Act, the Deputy Commissioner said that under this Act, all the NOCs related to set up a new enterprise would be completed with in 15 days after submitting application on the ‘Business First Portal’. All the formalities and NOCs related to the new business / business start-up would be awarded through this single medium in a record time. He said the Department of Industries and Commerce have taken this new initiative to promote the business in the state besides providing ease of doing business with the required approvals.
He said that Mr. Ratandeep Garang, owner of M/S Platinum Toys has become the first entrepreneur of the state who have got all approvals by the 13th day of online application.
Thanking the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh after receiving the certificate of approval under Single Window System ‘Business First Portal’ from Deputy Commissioner Patiala Mr. Kumar Amit, Mr. Ratandeep said It was really like a dream come true with in days of submitting application through a hassle free mechanism. He expressed hope that the initiative of the Department of Industry and Commerce of Punjab Government definitely boost the business in state by successful implementation of the ‘Punjab Right to Business Act-2020.
Deputy Commissioner Mr. Kumar Amit added that the entrepreneurs were feeling happy with the positive policies being formulated by the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to give a boost to the industries in the state and giving concessions to the new entrepreneurs.
Mr. Kumar Amit said that Punjab Government has created a pro-industry environment in the state and now the industrial revolution is being brought to the forefront. He said that under the Punjab Right to Business Act-2020 all the necessary approvals were issued by the department to the new entrepreneurs in record time after uploading the application on the Punjab Business First Portal.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Pooja Sayal Grewal, Mr. Jagnur Singh Grewal PCS, General Manager District Industries Center Mr. Dharmapal Bhagat, Functional Manager Mr. Angad Singh Sohi were also present on the occasion.
