Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa Donates One Month Salary To CM’s Relief Fund

Expressing concern over the prevailing situation due to corona virus (COVID-19), the Punjab Cooperation and Jails Minister S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on Monday announced to donate one month salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the welfare of people facing difficulties in this hour of crisis.
Commending the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s announcement for immediate relief of Rs. 3000 each for all the registered construction workers in the State amid COVID-19 restrictions, S. Randhawa said that it was our bounden duty to help the distressed and needy sections of the society in this difficult time besides following the directions being issued by Government time to time for the containment of this deadly disease. The Minister also appealed the people to abide by the restrictions imposed by the authorities in larger public interest so that the spread of COVID-19 could be contained efficaciously.
