Recruitment process completed to fill 107 various posts in PWD; CM Bhagwant Mann to hand over appointment letters

The recruitment process for 107 Group C and D posts in Punjab Public Works Department has been completed.

Divulging details, Punjab PWD Minister Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO said that on Monday April 24, 2023, Chief Minister Mr. Bhagwant Mann will hand over the appointment letters to the selected candidates at Municipal Bhawan Chandigarh.

The Cabinet Minister said that appointment letters to be given to 98 Clerk (Group C), 02 Junior Draftsman (Group C, on compassionate grounds) and 07 (Group D, on compassionate basis) etc. total 107 candidates in Public Works Department.

The Public Works Minister said that apart from this, a total of 392 candidates including 22 Group (A), 206 Group (B), 138 Group (C) and 26 Group (D) have been given government jobs in the Public Works Department.

Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO further said that the Punjab government led by CM Bhagwant Mann fulfilling its promise of providing employment to the youth and more than 28 thousand youths of the state have got jobs in various departments during one year. He expressed hope that with the new appointments, there will be further improve the performance of the department at grass root level.
