Chandigarh, December 20: Punjab Rural Development & Panchayats and Agriculture Minister Mr Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal on Tuesday called upon people to become active partner in the state’s overall development as the Punjab Government led by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is making all out efforts to make Punjab-a vibrant state.
While addressing here at Vikas Bhawan after hearing the plaints of people during weekly ‘Janta Darbar’ program, the NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal sought fulsome support from people for the all round development of Punjab. The Minister directed the officials on the spot to address the issues being raised in this weekly meeting promptly. He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led Government is fully committed to maintain peace & harmony besides touching new heights of development, prosperity and welfare of people. He also asserted that the State Government would launch the second phase of its campaign against removal of illegal possessions from Panchayati lands. He also pointed out that the first phase of campaign had been a great success with getting more than 10,000 acres of land free from such possessions.
Mr. Dhaliwal ordered the officials to resolve the complaints of the people quickly and said that it should also be ensured that the complaints and problems are resolved without any delay. He advised the employees related to their departments to perform their duties with utmost dedication.
Mr. Dhaliwal further said that more than 100 cases have been heard today. He said that most of the issues are being resolved immediately during the Janata Darbar’ programme.
