Hafed Launches Multigrain Atta, Biscuits and Namkeen
Chandigarh, August 22 – The Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation Limited (Hafed) has expanded its consumer products range by launching Multigrain Atta, Biscuits and Namkeen. The launching ceremony was held here today under the chairmanship of Chairman Hafed, Sh. Kailash Bhagat, in the presence of Managing Director Hafed, Sh. A. Sreenivas and other Board Members of Hafed at its Corporate Office Building located in Sector 5, Panchkula.
The spokesperson from Hafed said the list of products which were launched today in Hafed Brand includes Multigrain Atta, five different varieties of Biscuits i.e. Jeera, Coconut, Atta Gur Saunf, Nan Khatai and Dry Fruit Biscuits. The other products included six different types of Namkeen namely Punjabi Tadka, Gujrati Mix, Khata Meetha, Bikaneri Bhujia, Mungfali Pakoda and Lehsun Pakoda.
He said that Hafed has made tie-up with Haryana Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Limited (HDDCF) for manufacturing and packing of Biscuits and Namkeen products in HAFED Brand through its empanelled vendor M/s Chandigarh Sweets, (The Major stake of which has been taken over by Haldirams Delhi). Similarly, Hafed has onboarded an agency for manufacturing and packing of multigrain Atta in Hafed Brand.
He further informed that the main ingredient of Multigrain Atta includes Chana, Ragi, Barley, Soyabean, Maize, Jawar, Oats, Psylium Husk and Shyama Tulsi. The unique combination of about ten ingredients of Multigrain Atta is very beneficial for health, digestion and increasing the immunity in human body. Hafed will boost the sale of newly launched consumer products through its existing network of Hafed outlets, network of Distributors and institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman, Hafed, Sh. Kailash Bhagat said that the initiative has been taken by the Federation to boost its sale and broaden its customer base in the prevailing competitive market. This will further strengthen the overall presence of the Federation through its consumer products in the market. He further added that Hafed is continuously working in the direction of achieving the prime objective of the Federation of increasing the overall welfare and income of the farmers of the State.
During the launching ceremony Managing Director, Hafed, Sh. A.Sreenivas, emphasized on the infrastructure augmentation and mentioned that Hafed has initiated many projects which include expansion of existing plants, setting up of new plants etc. He further emphasized that Hafed has been continuously working on various aspects to overhaul Hafed brand to increase its visibility and overall sales. He also mentioned that customer will witness paradigm changes in the product range, quality and packaging of Hafed products in the coming months.
