HPPC approves purchases worth more than Rs.1000 crore
Chief Minister chairs HPPC meeting
Chandigarh, August 17- The meeting of the High Powered Purchase Committee (HPPC) and Department High Powered Purchase Committee (DHPPC) chaired by Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today approved the purchases of goods and items to be procured by various departments worth more than Rs. 1000 crore.
Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, Education Minister, Sh. Kanwar Pal, Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma, Power Minister, Sh. Ranjit Chautala, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. J P Dalal, Cooperation Minister, Dr Banwari Lal and Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Sh. Anoop Dhanak also remained present on this occasion.
Later addressing the media persons, Sh. Manohar Lal while divulging the meeting details said that a total of 18 agendas of 10 Departments, Boards and Corporations namely Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, HAFED, Haryana Agro Industries Corporation, Haryana State Warehousing Corporation, Haryana Seeds Development Corporation, Police, Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad, Elementary Education Department, HVPNL, DHVBN, UHBVN and Treasury Department were tabled in the meeting. Out of which 16 agendas were approved.
The Chief Minister shared that most of the agendas were of the Power department and three main agendas of the Police were also approved.
Administrative Secretaries of concerned departments also remained present during the meeting.
