Doda, May 4:
Traders in Doda are not happy with the decision of administration to allow opening of shops other than that of essential services after 2 pm.
They believe that most of their customers are from rural areas who somehow reach Doda in the morning and leave back to their homes by 1 pm.
“I absence of transport facility, people want to leave early and reach back home. Hey buy essential items in forenoon and when we get turn to open our shops nobody is around,” said Zaheer Baas, an electronic shop owner.
He said that they have been inside their homes for 45 days and their business has gone down tremendously.
“Administration must think of traders and allow opening of shops in morning hours so that we could also earn livelihood,” said another trader Waseem Ahmed.
