In a major respite, the district today witnessed as many as 9 corona virus-positive patients being discharged after recovering with the total number of cured cases going up to 212. Disclosing this here today, the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dayalan said that out of the 9 patients discharged, 8 are male while one is a female. The patients belong to zirakpur, daffarpur, derabassi, peer muchhalla, togan, bhabat, Sec-116, and Kharar. Meanwhile, three positive cases also surfaced in the district today. Out of these, 2 had returned from Uttar Pradesh while one hails from Derabassi. As of now, the total number of active cases is 67.
