BJP Unit Chief, Ravinder Raina makes a mockery of the Lockdown guidelines.
Paying little heed to passionate appeals made by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get into the habit of wearing a face mask in public places to contain the spread of Coronavirus, Jammu and Kashmir BJP Unit Chief, Ravinder Raina Tuesday made a mockery of these current guidelines.
On Tuesday, Raina was seen posing for the shutterbugs inside the Government Medical College hospital in Jammu, holding face mask in his hands.
Raina along with party General Secretary and former cabinet minister Sunil Sharma arrived at the Government Medical Hospital, Jammu to enquire about the health of the injured SPO Vishal Singh. Singh was injured seriously in a terrorist attack at Dacchan area of Kishtwar on Monday while another SPO succumbed to his fatal injuries.
On his arrival in the hospital premises, Raina was seen wearing a face mask but soon after he entered the ward, where Vishal Singh was recuperating, he took out his mask and stood by the side of the patient.
Even the Cameramen, accompanying him, inside the ward took pictures while Raina kept standing there without wearing a face mask. All others including doctors on duty and party workers were seen wearing masks but Ravinder Raina.
After the intervention of A senior doctor, Raina was advised to cover his face while standing there.
It’s a major violation of the Advisory and Appeal by our “Honourable Prime minister of India” and the guidelines given by the Government of India on COVID-19 break down across Nation.
Instead of covering it with his mask, Raina was seen, in the video, covering his face with his shawl. It’s a was a very serious issue of taken very lightly by the BJP J&K Chief.

The incident has raised many question marks over the working of the hospital authorities also now.
When images of Raina were posted on the social media pages , several people questioned hospital authorities and posted some direct questions asking who allowed a group of leaders, from the ruling party at the centre, inside the hospital ward, without taking proper precautions.
The number of people present in the ward was not seen maintaining social distance, as well as they, were surrounding the bed where SPO was seen lying on the hospital bed,.
Many people have raised the issue on social media via various posts.
Ironically, the media cell of the BJP had released image of the party chief along with a press note and video of his visit was also posted on the social media pages of the party.
