Pranab Mukherjee former President of India Passes away

Breaking news live: Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India, passes away at 84.

The 84-year-old was hospitalized for a brain clot surgery on August 10. While he was diagnosed as COVID prior to the surgery, he underwent an operation to treat the brain clot immediately.

Former President and seasoned politician, Pranab Mukherjee, who was admitted to a hospital in New Delhi early this month passed away today after suffering from a septic shock due to a lung infection.

West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday mourned former president Pranab Mukherjee’s death saying a “colossus in public life has left for heavenly abode”.He extended his condolences to the family members and friends of the former president.”Deeply condole the death of former President Bharat Ratna Pranab Mukherjee. An era has come to an end. A colossus in public life has left for heavenly abode. He served Mother India with statesman spirit like a sage rising above partisan politics.
