Two new full-time master’s programs have been launched by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, that are MSc in Cognitive Science and MSc in Economics. The classes for these new courses will be starting from July 2020 and the head of these two courses are the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Institute.
There will be 25 seats each for both the courses. The interested candidates, who are eligible can register themselves from the official website of the institute. The candidates also have to appear for the national level entrance examination which is a Joint Admission Test or JAM.
The two new master’s programs are uniquely designed to provide exciting learning opportunities to the students and also contribute positively to the ongoing transformation of higher education in India.
The aim of the program of M.Sc. in Cognitive Science is a highly interdisciplinary building on the theories and methods from psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, philosophy and, anthropology among others.
Though the aim of the M.Sc. in Economics program is to impart advanced training in Economics with a focus on quantitative skills.
