List of important changes proposed by CBSE for 10th and 12th standards
The board of CBSE has proposed some major changes for the students who are to appear for their 10th and 12th final exams in 2020. The changes aim at bringing a fundamental change in the structure of learning of the students and hence the kind of intellects the nations is making. Some of the important changes are as follows.
List of changes –
- The schedule of the examination will be changed and will be split into two parts – firstly the main courses and secondly the vocational courses.
- The Board exams of 12th will be from 15th February to 3rd April and for 10th they will be from 21st February to 20th Marc h.
- The exams timing will be from morning 10:30 to afternoon 1:30.
- The students will get their papers by 10 am to fill in their details.
- The results will be out by the first week of June.
- The question paper will have a greater number of short type questions. This will help the students to gain more marks and also improve their analytical skills. The stress will no longer be on their memorizing strengths.
- The examiners will get more time to evaluate their papers.
It has also been decided that now any institution will be checked all the more thoroughly so that it can be worthy of being CBSE affiliated. Now an institution and its authorities will have to face a greater number of questions and screenings than before.
