UGC NET June 2020 Notification Out

The official notification by NTA for the UGC-NET June 2020 examination has been released. The interested candidates can register themselves online, through the official website of NTA at nta.ac.in or ntanet.nic.in from March 16 to April 16. Admit will be released on May 15, the result will be declared on 5 July 2020 by NTA. The exam dates of UGC NET 2020 is from 15 June to 20 June. 

The UGC-NET exam by NTA is for  ‘Assistant Professor’ and for ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor. The test consists of two papers that will be conducted in a single three-hour duration. This is the computer-based mode of test.

Educational Qualification for UGC NET 2020

The candidates who have secured 55% (50% for candidates of reserved category) in Master’s Degree from any UGC recognized universities or the institutions are eligible for the examination. Also, those candidates are also available for UGC NET who are appearing for their qualifying Master’s degree or in the final year examination. Whose final exam’s result is still waiting and the candidates whose qualifying examination has been delayed are also eligible for the examination. It is necessary for these candidates to complete their master’s degree within the two years from the date of the result with the required percentage of the marks. Failing shall be treated as disqualified. 

For qualifying JRF, the age of the candidate should not be more than 30 years. Age relaxation is given for SC, ST, OBC, transgender, women, candidates who have research experience, etc. there will be no upper age limit for the assistant professor exam.
