In 1994, UNESCO Recommended World Teachers’ Day concerning the Status of Teachers. It is a standard and setting instrument that addresses the situations and status of teachers around. World Teachers’ Day, also known as International Teachers Day. It held annually on October 5. the world. This recommendation outlines standards relating to education policy, and training as well as the continuing education of teachers, their employment, and their working conditions.
The aim of the World teacher day:
World Teachers’ Day aims to considered assessing and developing the educators of the world. It also provides an opportunity to consider issues related to teaching and teacher.
The world body adopted the Sustainable Development Goal for education, which is aimed at present teachers as key to the achievement of Education and success. Following this, the World Teachers’ Day has become the occasion to mark progress and reflect on ways to counter the remaining challenges for the promotion of the teaching profession.
Today ‘s main reason to celebrate the world teache day is Young Teachers to the future of the Profession’. This day provides the occasion to celebrate the profession of teaching, to knowledge achievements. It also aims to address some of the issues that are key to attracting creative minds and young talents in the profession.
In India teacher and students celebrates this day the birth of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan on September 5 as Teacher’s Day.
All over 100 countries observe this special day. The efforts of Education International and its 402 member organizations have contributed to this widely spread dissemination of the event and every year its recognition.
