Omar Abdullah Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister was finally released on Tuesday after nearly 8 months of detention.
He was detained under the Public Safety Act (PSA) which was slapped on him in Feb 2020 was revoked on Tuesday.
Abdullah had spent 232 days in custody since the government announced the abrogation of the special status of the erstwhile state on August 5 last year.
