BJP candidate Jasmanpreet Singh wins from Ward No. 32

AAP candidates Suman Devi, Neha, Prem Lata win from Wards 4, 19 and 23 respectively

Shiromani Akali Dal’s Chandigarh unit chief Hardeep Singh wins from Ward No 30

BJP candidate Heera Negi – a two-time legislator – loses to AAP candidate Anju Katyal in Ward No. 22

BJP candidate Kuljeet Singh Sandhu wins Ward no 14

AAP’s Taruna Mehta defeats BJP’s Sunita Dhawan from Ward No. 18

SAD candidate Hardeep Singh won from Ward number 30.

AAP candidate Manaur wins from ward number 29 by 2738 votes.

It’s a tie at Ward number 22 between AAP’s Anju Katya and BJP’s Heera Nehi.  

BJP candidate Kuljeet Singh and Maheshinder Sindhu won from Ward numbers 14 and 2, respectively.

In a major setback to BJP, the sitting mayor Ravi Kant Sharma and ex-mayor Davesh Moudgil lost in Chandigarh MC polls.

AAP candidates leading from Ward number 26, 14, and 29.

AAP candidate Dhamnpreet Singh won from Ward number 17 by 828 votes. BJP candidate Kanwarjeet Singh Rana wins from Ward number 33.

BJP candidate Bimla Dubey won from Ward number 9. AAP candidate won from Ward number 21.

Congress candidate Darshna Rani, wife of former Mayor Gurcharan Dass Kala, wins from Ward number 5. Congress candidate Sachin Gale won from Ward number 13.

AAP candidate Yogesh Dhingra won from Ward no. 25. This seat was crucial for BJP as it was BJP president Arun Sood’s ward.

From Ward no. 1, AAP candidate Jaswinder Kaur won with a margin of 1009 votes. She bagged 3319 votes while BJP’s Manjit Kaur got 2310 votes and Congress’ Monika got 2200 votes.

AAP and Congress won two seats each while BJP won 1.

AAP candidate Yogesh Dhingra is leading from Ward no. 25  while BJP candidate Neetika Gupta is leading with 60 votes from Ward no. 5. BJP candidate Kanwarjeet Rana is leading with over 400 votes from Ward no. 33 and BJP candidate Devesh Moudgil is ahead with over 400 votes from Ward no. 21.

Congress ‘won’ from one seat

BJP is leading on 4 seats while AAP is leading on 3 and Congress on 2 seats.

As per initial trends, AAP is leading on 3 seats while BJP and Congress are ahead on 1 seat each.
