India’s Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) launched its Chandigarh SME & MSME Council of WICCI last week. The Council has been set-up with an objective to enable, equip and empower women within the industries under SME’s and MSME’s. WICCI’s Chandigarh SME & MSME Council will focus on the initiatives that will encourage talented and capable women stay on track in their careers all the way up to the most responsible council members so that they can identify the ground level problems faced by SME’s and industry so that this WICCI’s Chandigarh SME & MSME Council would able to provide suitable solutions for the same in best possible manner. Mrs. Deepika Bahri, Union Territory President, Chandigarh Council, WICCI said that WICCI’s Chandigarh SME & MSME Council will find out the best possible ways to help the industry. She added that people are not aware of the schemes atht the government provides and this sector can focus on it. Dr Kavita Sharma, Union Territory President , Chandigarh SME & MSME Council WICCI said that we will try our level best to reach in every segment of industry in Tricity and will surely try to propose the best feasible proposals to Ministry of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises so that we can work for betterment of the industry in Chandigarh. Dr Sonia Chawla, Union Territory Vice President, Chandigarh SME & MSME Council WICCI focused on use of expertise and knowledge of every council member to achieve the objective and goal of the formation of the WICCI’s Chandigarh SME & MSME Council. Dr Sita Saini, Dr Santosh Bali, Dr Nitya Sharma, Dr Parul Thapar, Ms Ramni Sharma, Ms Manhar Dhillon, Ms Himani Joshi Arora, Ms Riddhie Priye , Ms Monica Sadawarti, council members of WICCI’s Chandigarh SME & MSME Council also shared their views in same regards and ensured that we all are committed to sharing responsibility for bringing about a change in a nation where the role of women stands crucial and indispensable.
