DDC calls for mass awareness regarding prevention of Corona virus
Doda 04.03.2020:- District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Dr. Sagar D Diofode today visited Government Medical College Hospital Doda to have an assessment of preparedness of the health authorities regarding corona virus. DDC Doda was informed by hospital authorities that all arrangements are in place to fight the virus and treat virus affected patient. DDC also visited the isolation ward and inspected the preparedness. He said that necessary equipment’s have been installed in the ward.
DDC also took part in a day long special training program which was organized to impart special training to medical officers and paramedical staff to fight corona virus. DDC expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by health department. He said that public should also remain vigilant and any person having foreign travel history in recent days should inform the health authorities.
