DODA, March 12:– In order to disseminate more information regarding preventive measures that need to be taken into account to tackle Coronavirus at grassroots level DDC, Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode today flagged off two awareness vehicle’s from district headquarters.
Other’s who were present during the program are CMO Doda Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, DEPO Doda Ayaz Mughal, besides other officials of the health and education department.
DDC informed that this awareness Van’s has been designated for Doda and Ghat block and will aware the people of these blocks about the various preventive measures which shall be followed in letter and spirit so that the spread of the Corona virus can be contained in the district, besides informed that in same manner four awareness Van’s will be flagged off from Assar, Thathri, Gandoh and Bhaderwah tomorrow positively.
Moreover, DDC said that through these awareness vans wide publicity of control room numbers will be given besides voice clips will be played regarding preventive measures and also DDC appealed the people to informed the administration if any individual in their locality have any abroad travel history or to the affected countries, so that immediate and necessary action in this regard will done.
District Development Commissioner Doda Dr Sagar D Doifode in view of Corona Virus threat ordered the closure of all educational institutions including colleges and coaching centers till March and also advised the public to maintain social distance and avoid unnecessary travel and use of public transport.
