Indian Army organised Doda Cricket League Tournament at Doda Sports Stadium
Doda, Dec 29,2019: Army conducted a Cricket League at Doda Sports Stadium with an aim to boost the culture of sports amongst the youth. The tournament was organised at Doda Sports Stadium. 12 teams from Doda district will participate in the competition. First match of the tournament played between Ghat and Dashana wherein Ghat defeated Dashana team. During Inaugural Match Scores of youth cricket lovers present on this occasion.
Youngsters below the age of twenty years have been also provided an opportunity to participate in the tournament. Earlier the age limit was thirty years which provided chance only for elder ones to participate. This time special matches will be organised for younger once. The latter expressed gratitude towards army for providing them opportunity to play especially during vacations
Army applauded the youth for their efforts and encouraged them to make the best use of such a platform to display their sporting talent and also laid emphasis on the importance of games and sports for their overall development.
