Governor Bandaru Dattatraya and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have condoled the sad demise of Union Minister for Food and Consumer Affairs Ram Vilas Paswan, who breathed his last, yesterday evening at New Delhi.
In his condolence message, Governor said that Ram Vilas Paswan’s unwavering commitment and valuable service for the upliftment of the downtrodden would always be remembered. He extended his heartfelt condolences towards the bereaved family member and prayed the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul.
Terming Ram Vilas Paswan as stalwart of socialist movement, Chief Minister said that with the demise of Paswan, country had lost a leader of masses who always stood with the lesser privileged and marginalized section of society.
Chief Minister has prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
